When contacting us, please provide:
Date and time
Full delivery or collection address
On-site contact name and phone number
Any access restrictions or special instructions
Failure to provide accurate or complete information may result in delays and additional charges.
Charges & Statutory Fees
Delivery and collection charges are calculated based on location, timing, and access requirements.
Statutory road user charges (including but not limited to the London Congestion Charge), tolls, parking, or other access-related costs will be billed at cost and added to your invoice.
It is the Hirer’s responsibility to inform D-LUX Rentals in advance of any applicable access restrictions or chargeable zones.
Timing, Waiting Time & Delays
All delivery and collection times are pre-scheduled and must be strictly adhered to.
A standard allowance for routine loading and unloading is included. Any delay beyond this, including but not limited to lack of access, site not being ready, parking restrictions, or delays in client attendance, will be charged as waiting time.
Waiting time is charged at £25 per 30-minute period (or part thereof), commencing from the scheduled time of arrival or collection.
Where delivery or collection cannot be completed due to site conditions, access issues, or delays outside D-LUX Rentals’ control, the full delivery/collection charge will apply, and any reattempt will be charged as a new service.
All transport and crew time is operational from departure from D-LUX Rentals’ premises until return, and remains chargeable throughout.
Waiting time charges apply irrespective of the cause of delay where outside D-LUX Rentals’ control.
Collection from Our Premises
Collections and returns at D-LUX Rentals’ premises are strictly by scheduled appointment.
A standard time allowance is provided for collection. Arrival outside of the agreed time will incur waiting time charges at £25 per 30-minute period (or part thereof), or the appointment will be rescheduled, subject to availability.
D-LUX Rentals reserves the right to prioritise scheduled operations at all times.
